Junel Fe, an oral contraceptive pill taken by millions of women in the US every day, sits at the intersection of health, gender, and everyday life. This repackaging project aims to develop a user-centered, emotionally intelligent solution that maintains regulatory clarity and safety standards, while incorporating a much-needed and long-overdue level of care and consideration. The redesign will certainly be functional—and also personal, comforting, and human.

This new branding and packaging system invites the user in with warm, neutral colors and an elegant typeface. The box breaks down the active ingredients within the contraceptive pill and explains what it’s for, how to use it, and other essential information in an accessible, welcoming tone.
Rather than the typically bland and clinical labels, each blister packet of pills marks the passing of time within the 28-day regimen with an introspective and uplifting poem, which changes every month.
This execution of Junel Fe’s packaging is guided by the core mandate: “Designed with care. Designed for you.”
